SawYun Wallet ("the app") is a personal finance tracker published by Saw Yun LLC. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: your financial data stays on your device, and we do not run any server that receives it.
Your wallets, transactions, categories, budgets, recurring entries, settings and any receipt photos you attach are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. We do not collect, receive, or have access to this data.
The app asks for camera access only when you choose to scan or attach a receipt. Text recognition runs on your device. Receipt images are stored locally in the app and are not sent to us.
If you enable the app lock, the app uses your phone's built-in biometric or screen-lock prompt. The app never receives or stores your fingerprint or face data; it only receives a pass or fail result from Android.
Backup to Google Drive is optional. If you sign in with Google, the app requests the "drive.file" permission, which lets it see only the backup files it creates itself, never your other Drive files. Backups are uploaded to your own Google Drive and are readable only by you. You can turn automatic backup off or sign out at any time, and delete backup files from your Drive yourself. Backup files contain your app data, including receipt photos. We do not receive copies.
The app can create backup and CSV export files on your device and share them via the Android share sheet. Where they go is your choice.
The app shows banner ads provided by Adsterra, loaded inside an embedded web view. When an ad loads, Adsterra and its advertising partners may receive technical information from your device, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and your interactions with the ad, and may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. This is handled under Adsterra's own privacy policy (adsterra.com/privacy-policy). The ad network does not receive your wallets, transactions, receipts, or backups from the app.
No analytics, no selling of your data, and no account with us. We never see your financial data.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device. Drive backups remain in your Google Drive until you delete them (drive.google.com), and you can revoke the app's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
